Maybe stupid question, but how I can move object only in one plane (XY, XZ, YZ)?

No, I mean move object only in plane direction. Like in Softimage and Maya.

Quick shortcut: Ctrl-Click on one of the axes to get the Translate Plane square widget to drag the handle along a plane.

Remember that RMB on anything in Houdini is the first thing to try. RMB on widgets pulls up context sensitive menus. And I mean try everything.

Full Menu Options: RMB on the handle itself will give you the handle menu. In that menu there are the Translate Plane options:
Show Translate Plane > XY YZ XZ
Clear Translate Plane

I just Ctrl-Click to get the translate plane.
There's at least one school like the old school!

One thing Jeff that I would love to see is a flag to keep the transform icon in the viewport so no matter how far the object is from the frustrum i still can manipulate it…
