Can someone please explain to me how to get these jets to not spread like this? I just want it to go up and fall straight down without making that ring of water around it.

Can someone explain how I can reflect a certain image onto the surface of water? Like if I wanted to reflect clouds or something similar.

Yes, my fluid emitting is at the bottom of the tub. How should I adjust the divergence attribute? I'm not familiar with it. My reseeding is already turned off.

Can anyone explain to me why my simulation seems to cut off here even though I have plenty of frames? It just slows down at this point and won't fill up any more. There are no leaks, the death rate isn't the issue that I can tell. I used the same setting that I used in a similar simulation and it's still not working for some reason. Any idea what settings I should check?

Can anyone tell me why there are apparently particles around the edge of my collision geometry that are merging with the mesh of the fluids?
Also how do I smooth the geometry but still keep the sharp edges without changing the over shape/silhouette for rendering? (I've used the smooth node but it smooths too much and loses its shape).

Hey, I'm relatively new to using Houdini and I was wondering how I would go about turning a flip fluid simulation of a water fountain-like stream on and off. Say I wanted to have it turn off for 6 frames and back on for 24 frames and then repeat.
I have already set up the flip fluids and that is working just fine. I would like to know how to control it to go on and off.
