hey!
is there any trick/hint/advice to speed up subsurface rendering with karma?
maybe some hyper realistic feature in the shader one could delete/prune?
there was sth like that in the old mantra sss i remember...
i really hope it will be faster with xpu soon..

Hey!
i have trouble using fur attributes in karma.
for example i tried the clumpid attribute via the bind sop and a random, with both mtlxstandard and karmaHair
with no luck. Mtlx Geompropvalue instead of bind also didnt work.
whats the way to use fur attributes in karma shading?

e: managed to get it working now, my remap was to low, didnt check that the integers were in such a big range.

hey,
how can i NOT have the main hair density affect/change my clump size?
(when i override the clump size with a painted skin attribute, the density still changes the clumping.)
is there a way to “lock” it ?
(i can lock it if i use a custom guide set, with painted density, but then i dont know how to share the grooming (mainly combing) from the main guide set to this clump guide set (to avoid a new custom combing to this one)
maybe i think to much about doing it like i am used to in yeti, i'd be happy to get a tip on this
