everytime I render the smoke..
it less take 10 min ↑ to render one frame…
but use maya fluid or fumefx ..
always just take 2min ↓ to render..
my res is 2048x1080.
I love the houdini workflow & pyro shape.
but how can I speed up the render time??
I use
basic smoke
Pixel sample 2
volume step size 1
what else I can tweak?

1.When I click render buttom and popup the ip window then…crash!!(but this just for ip mantra,and I can't use mantra node to render,which render with mantra node will get me empty exr file but still got filesize…)
2.When I just open the houdini newest version, use H11 or GL3.1 version,when I drag the window split line, and crash!!
Please help me!! I am in rush now,I have a project less few days to make..

hi everybody
have any one can share about maya & houdini stereocamera translate workflow?
I am working in some project, I just get some issue with workflow…
The camera use FBX export the CM camera and,
I just use this one to constrain with houdini own stereo camera,
and key the stereo rotation & interaxial distance from maya.
But still can't match a render file from maya…

Hi I have some depth shadow problem
this is my file .
when I use the Raytrace shadow all fine.
but when I turn to depth map shadow,
The volume will not display all in black!
The depth map *.rat I was generate correct , but still wrong..
