Hi,

I have a huge delay when selecting geometry in the viewport , even with very small objects around 1500 polys. I recently contacted the HP-support , but they couldn't find any hardware or driver errors. I tested all kinds of ATI drivers available and reinstalled Windows but the problem is still there. :?

Houdini builds i tried :

Houdini 11.0.581
Houdini 11.0.547
Houdini 10.0.734

Does anybody else has this problem too ?
I really have no idea how to get Houdini work.

My system :

Hp z400
Windows 7 (64bit)
Intel W3580
6gb DDR3 ecc memory
ATI Firepro V7750

I'm not sure if it works with FirePro cards, or just ATI consumer cards, but it's worth a try.

but it looks like the solution is not working with my firepro card. It seems to be the current ATI driver which causes the problem, so i will have to wait for an update.
