how to make the crown shape splash?

I want to create a dolphin jumping into the water that makes this water splash(right image).
I've been testing.. and I can't get the motion right.
Can't get the thin layer of the water, and the height.
Mine tends to be teared apart a lot…

Any advice please?

I already watched it though, and I think it is more like for random rough looking splashes..

I would say not so random because the splashes direction/velocity/alpha/color are based on FLIP fluid simulation.

Hi

try giving your rbd object more curl noise in its velocity field and in your fluid solver (i think) ,change point collision to volume.

if that doesn't help have you thought about doing a separate sim to get the desired look?
