Hi, i'm trying to run houdini-8.0.410 on FC 4. Everything installed fine but when I try to run hkey i get a:

hkey: error while loading shared libraries: /opt/hfs8.0.410/dsolib/libHoudiniUT.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied

I'm really new to linux and i've tried all the few things I know to correct these permissions. But, so far no luck…

any ideas?

If you run this command (as root), does it work?

chcon -t texrel_shlib_t /opt/hfs8.0.410/dsolib/*.so
