Hi all,

Unfortunately od.net has taken our severe, seemling annual, beating by some hackers and our gracious web admin is MIA over the holidays. We hope that we can both restore service and find a new virtual home for odforce in the near future. We have the actual data in hand but the Apache server portion is apparently compromised. Please be patient and we'll do our level best to get going again.

Sorry to hear what happened to odforce . Maybe you should give the people some more information on whats needed to host odforce ( webspace , traffic … ). And if you need some donations to pay the bills for a proper host ask for it . I am more then willing to contribute some money to get odforce up and running again and some people on the irc chan said the same.

Thanks all who replied to us - we very much appreciate all the warm response.

We have the physical machine sitting with us and we're going to spend a few days trying to get the data pushed onto a new server. I hope that we can get at least the forum up and running within the week.

As Jason said, thanks for all the support and offers of support . Here's a little update for you:
We've finally managed to sign up with a host and are in the process of getting our new home setup. I should be getting all the data this weekend off the old server, so hopefully we'll be up and running early next week.

Yes indeed, the forum is back online. We'll be bringing the rest of the site back up as the week goes by. There's alot of stuff to upload and check.

Well, I had a cron job that attempted to load the site every 10 seconds. Then, when successful, a loud hooting klaxon sounded and I came running.
