Hello,
As the title says, I want to change the resolution of the viewport without resizing its pane. Since I have a laptop with an igpu, it is hard to work in a shaded scene when the viewport is big (resolution is high), it works great when i make the pane smaller, but now it is hard to look at.
I tried to find the option, in the display options and prefrences, searched the docs, forum and google, but there was no answer, so im checking if there is a solution before submitting a rfe.

Thankyou!
Tanto
If you're talking about Solaris, the setting is indeed in display options, at the bottom of the render tab. Set the Image Resolution to fixed size and enter the resolution you want. I've had mixed results with this though, seems like it's not always respected.

That only works with render previews, and only in lops

There is no resolution scale for the 3d viewer, just make it smaller or lower desktop resolution. 3D views always render 1:1

Guessing that there is no solution, I've submitted a rfe for this.
