Hi friends.
I'm doing a particle sim in houdini and I'm trying to achieve a flickering effect as seen in this getty images video.
I'm using redshift as my render engine.
I am able to get little flickering but I'm not able to get sparkling metallic shine. I've amped up the emission and played with the alpha based on time but still not able to get the look from the reference. Can anyone please help me??
Here's what I am getting

Here's what I aim to achieve.

Please share step by step methods and screenshots if possible. Sharing steps like, "use pop wrangle and bind the velocity to the normal, and create a lerp function to control the flicker", aren't helpful because I don't know how to to do that.
Here's the project file.
