Has anyone here used the fbx import to bring in mocap data and apply it to the auto-rig, is there a way to do this and does it work?
Any experiences would be great to hear about.

A quick search (I could swear I've seen this before) gives the following two threads:

The last one might work for you. There currently is no automated way to match the auto-rig with FBX animation data, since there's no guarantee that whatever you brought from FBX will have a compatible skeleton structure.

I thought i'd seen it somewhere too, but I couldn't find it.
That last file has been hit over 1000 times, I guess everyone is trying to do the same thing…
