Would anyone have working ideas on how to place feathers on a bird body. I have the body, and have ‘combed’ the normals. My initial attempt using Copy SOP wasn't exactly successfull.

Well, it's not feathers exactly, but someone was asking about placing “plates” on a skirt at odforce and the solution will probably work well for feathers also.
