So I want to create a one time ripple on my grid. I tried the trigonometric method, but there is more than one ripple every time.

There is also a VOP node in there that creates a gaussian bump, if you want to play with that.

the dop one is good, but cannot get animated as I would like. the Vop is good but I just want one ripple and shouldn't be from the center. It should start already formulated as a “ring”
