I'm trying to install H11 on my brand new win7 64 system.
I just switch from xp32 and H10 to this one.
It's a french version, I don't know if this is a clue.
I can't get a licence : connection error.
When I try to install it manualy, the houdiniLicenseServer service stops everytime the panel seems to try to connect the server and I get an error.
Every time I retry to get a new licence, the server code change (I don't know if that's the way it should be).
When I try to launch Houdini while this service is stopped, nothing append. A white window flashes on the right down corner.
I've turn off my firewall, got the UAC off.
I've reinstall houdini four times.
It's the 11.0.446.9-win64 version. I've installed it at office on xp64 to try, it works fine.
May I loose something with win7 ?
I'm lost, if anyone can help.
:?: :?: :?:

If you're able to run the License Administrator, I'd email the View > Diagnostic info out to support AT

You're right, I'll do that this evening.
But as I've been able to run it fine on a xp64 system, I think it's somehow related to win7.

Yes Allegro, I'm on a laptop connected to internet.
I don't know why the code changes all the time if it's based on the mac adress.
I've seen this thread :

and your posts.
What I don't understand is that with olders version of Houdini, the licensing wasn't a problem. So Ithink it's a win7 compatibility issue or something has changed in the licensing tool.
Now my Licence Administrator won't start, it stops the houdiniServer service and a window flashes with something with “segment fault”.
I'm really bored with this.
