Without a snapshot I'm just guessing, but is it mach-banding that you're seeing? (it would look something like contour lines on a map) These are due to accumulated error when compositing in 8b. If the X1600 supports it, you can try turning on HDR Rendering in the Display options Effects tab.

I think that sampling division in iso offset conversion(fog ans sdf volume mode)when is not 2^n is making problems in viewport .tnx

It's actually a bug in the ATI legacy driver that isn't converting FP32 data to the internal 8bit RGBA properly. There are a couple of other minor issues, but that's the main one.
