I've been doing some silly experiments with the intersect VOP in spare time lately. I previously made a little ray trace renderer, tracing rays from the points of a grid into the scene, shading, and storing the result in Cd point attribute of the original grid. I wanted to go a step further though so I upgraded it to a conceptually simpler, prettier looking, but slower pathtracer.
