Hi,

I'm a beginner in Houdini and I have a question about Voronoi fracturing.

I made object breaking animation by a combination of Voronoi and RBD, and I set “maximum fractures” 3.
Of course, number of objects and topology are changing.

As I'd like to change this result into the same animation of pre-broken pieces,
(no change in number of pieces and topology, from start to end.)
is there any way to do this in Houdini?

Any information would be helpful.

Thanks
Erik_JE
You can create your own prefractured pieces in SOPs with the Voronoi Fracture node and then bring em into DOPs as an RBD Fractured Object.

Thanks for your advice.

I've created major broken pieces before RBD simulation.
Then in the simulation, these pieces hit each other, and break again.
The number of this fracturing is 3.
It's like a second and third time breaking.

I'd like to use all these small broken pieces.

Then I think,
need some way to make animation for these small pieces, such as coming back to the rest position.

The purpose of this is, to attach 3D texture layout (u,v,w) for all objects, and export them to other 3D software.
