hi all ,

im in a situation where i have build a path over which a car is aligned and animated .

the path is a nurbs curve ( Curve SOP ) . i need to have a point on each frame , and that was simple with a Resample SOP , but the animation is not smooth .

the reason : i do not know how to define it but let me say ' the nurbs resolution ‘ isn’t enough .. or ‘ perfect ’ .

as you can see in the attached pic , there are corners which the Resample SOP is obligated to respect .

i tried to tweak different parameters on the Curve SOP , but the highest definition i could get was at Level 3
( while going up the definition became worse than the default Level 4 ) .

temporarily im trying a ‘ subdivide technique ’ .
> Resampling slightly the original Nurb
> Convert this last in a Nurbs Curve again
> repeat these steps .. till i wd be happy .

indeed my question actually is this :
