Does someone have the last Houdini 5.5 Apprentice build for me? I'd love to have it. I'm currently using 5.5.36, I think the last build was 5.5.230. But I lost it a while ago.
Is it by any chance still on the Australia VisLab server. If not, could I get it from someone perhaps?

but I would use the latest 6.1 build - there is no reason (other than recovering old files) to use 5.5, if you're trying to do a tutorial that was writen for 5.5 - do it in 6.1 and just ask around if you get stuck on something that may have changed

The reason why I don't use 6.1.xx is because it doesn't work well in Win2K for me. I use it in Linux though

I found windoze xp pro with the latest service pack works very well with houdini compared to win 2000.
Someone else told me that too… I'll consider installing WinXP.
