For instance SOPs and COPs.

I assume, you can write one using the HDK, right?
What about hscript, python, and VEX? Can you write one using them?

Is python coverage just like hscript, or better? Like in Maya, python is more powerful than its MEL, in terms of what it can access.

Is there any resource that sort of compares these and tells you speed differences, their power against each other, and limitations, etc?

I imagine certain OPs can only be written using only one way.

Thanks.

Each has its strengths and weaknesses.
