This asset only renders the alpha channel for me. Anyone else having any problem with it rendering? I'm using the trial version in HoudiniFX non-commercial.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I've just done a quick test and it seems to render ok on this end. If you cycle through different color components in Mplay (short cut keys `/1/2/3/4) do you see information in any of the channels?

Nope, no rgb, just an alpha that oddly shows up in the color channels.
