Hi everyone,

Now that I have more time to work my personnal projects, I started a new little one. It's about milk falling in slow motion

The problem is that I'm satisfy with the look of my simulation (I mean it's not to bad for the moment), but not with the look of my fluid. It's not smooth enough for milk, it's too much “grainy”, there is too much little bumps. I want a fluid more smooth, but not a glue-like effect, juste a “milky” effect

How can I achieve this look ?

Maybe later I will add some cereals or something falling with the milk (yeah I know it's not badass at all, but before making big simulation I prefer to know how to achieve a certain look in a small simulation).

Thanks a lot guys !

And with a bigger particles separation.

I feel so alone

dobin
you may try ‘Particle Fluid Surface SOP’ rather than vdb to mesh your particles and use filtering to smooth out the mesh

Mmmh you're right I'll try that ! Thanks !

Done ! I had some problem with the uniform subdiv of my terrain object, so there is some holes in the fluid. When I was increasing subdiv of the terrain object, holes where appearing in the mesh itself…

It's not in slow motion, there is no cereals… I'll do better next time !
