H there, does anyone know of any tutorials which cover combing animation with the FEM solver?

I have a couple of ideas which I think would operate on the same principle as the geometry deformation in Morbidus by Dvein -

- where (I think) a group of copied objects within a geometry are growing and squeezing against each other at the same time.

I've gone through Jonah Hall's “Combining Procedural Animation and Rigid Body Dynamics” tutorial on Digital Tutors where he combines a growth animation from a SOP Solver with collisions from an RBD Solver but unfortunately it's not as easy as just switching out the RBD solver for a FEM.

I'd really appreciate any pointers. I'm pretty new to Houdini so please let me know if I'm going about this completely the wrong way. Any links to soft body stuff in general would be extremely helpful.

It's really quick here but they also do something similar in this Man V Machine Nike ad with the red plastic bubbles. >

I've attached a screen grab below.

Thanks.
