In Softimage we can preview data and attributes from any part of an ICE tree within the viewport. Things like ID's on particles, number of points etc. This is incredibly useful for debugging and general workflow.
Is there an equivalent in Houdini? Some way of viewing a particular attribute and how it changes over time on an object in the viewport?

Hi Sam,
You can use an “export bind” from within a vopsop and then display it via the display Options (“D”). It's a bit more fiddly than with xsi but does the same thing..

I use a spread sheet to see the numbers, its just like being in the Matrix, you see everything. Viewports are so 2006.
