I want to learn Houdini, so I'm considering the online classes of 3d buzz….
I'm only wondering if they are realy free or are there some charges?

however, Buzz expects you to work hard to keep getting the free stuff

You can buy the DVDs which has all of the course videos off the 3dbuzz site if you don't want to do the projects. I think its worth it. I did that.
