I just downloaded the Houdini Apprentice version and looking forward to trying some of the tutorials and learning the program. I was just wondering if the Apprentice version will run on Windows XP Home? Thank you in advance.

I don't think it's officially supported (XP Pro is) but I've heard that some have managed to install it … see this thread:

I am running Houdini on Windows XP Home perfectly fine. Works great. Let me know if you have problems.
