Hi all.
Im facing problem about the layering materials in Houdini.
In Softimage its easy to use grid with some material and add extra material with texture with different look - imagine red packing tape (texture) on concrete floor (grid).
I would like to achieve the same level of freedom and easy of use. Im able to write custom shader based on copy/paste inside VEX nodes of Mantra shader but its very messy and unconvincing to change any parameters i want to modify. Anytime i want to modify any parameter i have to go to VEX and i have to be sure what parameter affect what (lets say i want to change reflection roughness).
