I was looking for a tutorial on how to do camera projections in Houdini. Seemed pretty simple but there was nothing really out there that went over it in depth, so I made a file if anybody wants to use it.
The reason was because I had swimming textures on an animated object and I had strange things happening with the edges of my frame because it wasn't subdivided enough. My method is simple, just project, bake, and render.
Hope this helps those out there new to VFX or camera projections.
Download the file. Created in Houdini 16

Hey…I would like to take a look at your file but am getting an archive error. I looked at your reel and thought you had some nice work on there, loved the mud shading and the chariot race…

Just saw this. Thank you - If the zip doesn't work here is the houdini file.
Also here is a link which shouldn't break.

not sure you need to bake any textures, just make sure the projection happens on the frame you want and copy those uvs to the deforming geo

Hi Tomas,
this is exactly what I am trying to do, however I need multiple UV channels. I have tried duplicating your setup twice in the file and added uv2, but only the latest created uv channel in the chain comes through. Any thoughts on how to use multiple uv channels?
Thanks.
