I followed the tutorial for Unreal on creating imposter textures but I seem to have hit a brick wall.

I have a smoke simulation, only one frame (the final one) I want to be used as the imposter. In the rop_imposter_texture output I have tried 3D full imposter, single and even the animation imposter type. All of them render and produce the imposter texture fine but they only render the first frame.

I tried going into the ‘Controls’ tab and using the ‘Specific Frame Range’, setting them to the final frame of the smoke simulation, but that would bring up an error while rendering, saying the beauty texture failed to render, and producing a black beauty texture. Also tried doing this with the imposter type on Animation, but it still produced a black beauty texture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
