I've done an RBD simulation in DOPs, rendered it out as a sequence of SIM files and read it back in with a file DOP. For some reason when I'm trying to play back the simulation it wont play smoothly (or at all for that matter) and the message bar keeps saying ‘DOP network cook’. Why is it trying to cook the DOP network? I thought the whole point of rendering out to disk was to stop cooking the sim each time and to play it back smoothly…?!

Dang, that's frustrating! I'm having a similar issue with a FLIP sim.

Good lord holy thread resurrection.
Also .SIM files are fairly meh and gigantic. Just cache things out to bgeos, specially RBDs, cache out only the simulation points and not the geometry itself.
