Hi to all,
Houdini is really an impressive 3D-Application, I used to
check out some features with the non commercial version.
I wasn't deep enough to render a whole scene, because
it's a little rocket science compared to Maya or Softimage.
I know, Houdini was used in many great films, but I really
never saw a picture gallery with kick-ass pictures compared
to galleries from apps like Modo, Softimage, Lightwave….
Why???
I Houdini more used for Simulation or what's it's core power?
Where can I find Houdini Pic Gallery?
Thanks
Tom

The Work In Progress forum (maybe due for a name change?) on od gets a fair amount of posts. Check it out:

Yup, sorry that the Galleries are not working as they should be - we've all been too busy at work or panelbeating hacker vandalism to fix them. There was some though for using a odforum entry as WIP until completion and then the final image stuck in the odwiki (
http://www.odforce.net/wiki [
odforce.net]) with a link back to the forum thread.
That said, also look at anything DaJuice posted
and recently a pretty sequence by ptakun. (
