I just had a look at the stand alone applications and I was wondering the following:
- Is there a tool to compare 2 Hip files: kind of diff tool that will tell me this one there are such and such OPs, etc.

well I mean Hip no hips…

How about using hexpand to expand both files then diff the contents?

Yes, I've noticed that it can be hard to find stuff on the Exchange, even if you know the specific thing you are looking for. Not sure why that is…
