I'm trying to figure out the rules for being able to pass through an animation to a HDA.

I'd love to be able to use the Vertex Animation Textures ROP through 3DS Max, allowing me to bake animation to textures without having to go thorough so many steps: exportFromMax->ImportIntoHoudini->Bake->importFBX back to max to then export with our custom exporter for game.

However from what I know so far, I can't just keyframe move a box and send that to my HDA? What form does my animation have to be in?
