Hey guys.

I can't seem to find any info on the %topic%. Is it possible at all?

To be more precise is it possible to render Houdini sprite object / particles with Redshift? Currently i don't have any DOPs - i simply convert scattered points to sprites via Sprite SOP.

I guess worst case scenario i could copy textured planes to the points, however it would make the scene a bit too heavy (i need lots of particles / sprites there).

Thanks in advance for all the answers!

rendering sprites in pathtracer is killing. Houdini OpenGL or Unreal/Unity is best way to render sprites.

that's whole points of sprites, using pre-rendered images on planes to save all this heavy pathtracing.
