hello everybody , right now im following a videotutorial about Houdini and i cant find the viewer control menu for use the “clear current object (new) ” option , im using the houdini 8 apprentice version. please i need help!

I'm not sure which viewer/control you mean but in general all bars with menus can be hidden in Houdini. Look on vertical or horizontal thin lines on pane's borders. Click on them to open bar…

Hi,

The option has been moved to the Operator menu. Alternatively, you can select the File SOP & hit Delete.

It will be frustrating to follow the tutorials as menus & options have changed or moved around. Please ask questions if you still can't find something after a while.
