I might do a crowd simulation with Houdini but it will most likely be rendered with V-Ray, 3ds Max. I'm trying to think of ways I can get geometry sequences out of Houdini into Max.
So far (other than scripting it myself of course) the best option looks like the real flow exporter, but it only get's the vertices(particle bin) into Max. Has anyone had experience with this, ideally there's a script somewhere out there to import an .obj sequence into Max or to write Houdini out as a .pc2 file.

Hi Andrew,
I have such a script.
I answered your mail, too.

Hey Georg, would it be a problem to put that script on the exchange? It would be really cool.

Thanks again Georg, I'm going to compare a few things (like large poly counts) and I might still incorporate pc2 but for the moment this script looks like a good place to start from, I may add an interface to this.
