Hello everyone, I have been working thought many destruction tutorials and Im making my own shot where a rock smashed into the ground, the ground fractures and I have rbd debris used to find the edges and I am then using that as a sourse for pyro. Its all killing my pc and I am sure Im not doing it to optimize the scene. anyone got a link or breakdown on the actual workflow for something like this?

should I be saving out each sim first or something is my main question.

Definitely cache out all of your sims before trying to do debris. In general, the cleaner your geo the better... remove unneeded attributes and groups. Make sure your geo has at least the name attribute and v otherwise the debris tool(s) won't work.
