I was wondering if there is any perferred asset management tools that work well with Houdini if any? Sorry if this isn't the right forum but I was tring to get any info for use on projects for thesis purpose… SO i can sugest it at school….

Autodesk has “vault” which is sopposed to work with any apps. I haven't tried it though. If the school already has Max or something than I think it would be free.

thanks man . We have Max and maya… very nice…. we have qube fx but I think it;s a render que more then anything else… Have you used or heard of Alienbrain? thanks for the suggestions…

NXN was purchased and integrated into XSI.

i don't know of any other system that hooks into houdini directly. you have to ask why you would need one in the first place before committing to such a system

There used to be here a link to asset management system designed for Houdini. One of its developer visits us from time to time. But now I can't remember anything more. Maybe someone else does.
