I'm working on the help cards of my HDAs. However, I don't know how to escape special characters. For example, how could I render "*A*" as is instead of "A" (bold)? How to start a sentence with @ without creating a @-section?

Could you use back-ticks to use the code style? `"*A*"`

Thanks for the suggestion. It's not a bad workaround... but I'd like to know if there is an actual escape sequence. It's very weird that you can't even show *A* as plain text in this markup langauge.
