How can I do this in houdini?

Are you wanting to snap two objects together ('Objects' will display at the top right of the Network editor), or two pieces of geometry ('Geometry' displayed top right)?

The basic technique is the same, but the detail is slightly different.
Assuming it is objects:

In the left toolbar select 'point snapping'.
Select the object you want to move. The handle should display.
Right click on the centre point (a little cube) of the handle and unselect 'attach to geometry' from the menu.
Drag and snap the handle to the corner point.
Right click on the centre point of the handle and select 'attach to geometry'.
Drag the handle centre point (and therefore geometry) to the target cube corner.

PS: If you're new to H - it's well worth reviewing some basic geometry concepts via the help files as they are slightly different to most DCC's, eg: vertices and points are not the same thing, and H has a two-level arrangement of objects and geometry. It is also interesting for me. Thanks!!

My question is closer to your second option: I am in "vertex" selection mode. I need to select either all points on the right cube or a few. AND THEN!!!! I need to snap cursor to the one of the selected vertex (or even unselected). The crux of the matter is: - I need to see that cursor staps to any vertex on right cube. And understandably I move the selected vertices
on the right cube by holding on to the selected vertex and snap it vertex to any vertex to on the left cube.

PS

Unselected vertices on the right cube remain fixed

I need to move the vertices behind the vertex to snap to other vertex on different object
