I would like to publicly and sincerely apologize to the entire SideFX team.
A few years ago, I allowed myself to make highly harsh and destructive remarks regarding your achievements, questioning the professional competence of the developers. At that time, I completely failed to understand how complex and massive this process is, and how much time is required to stabilize and polish such a software suite.
Now, I fully realize what an enormous and vital job you are doing for the entire visual effects industry. In fact, you are essentially the ones driving and developing this industry forward today.
I completely retract my past words and arguments. I am genuinely sorry for showing such disrespect toward your hard work. I want to offer my apologies and thank the entire SideFX team for creating, supporting, and developing this unique and incredibly complex package.
