Hello, ladies and gentlemen,
This is my first post. I'm a long time Maya user that only recently transitioned to Houdini.

I have a multi-layered object that I fractured and I would like any object that is within that fracture to remain in one piece. I've been wrestling with Claude, the help files and just good ol trial and error elbow grease, but this one stumped me.

This object is fractured into 4 pieces, but you can see 8 here. I want the corresponding core piece to stick with it's outer green companion. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks in advance.

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you kindly for taking the time to reply. I appreciate it.

I see why I missed it...

I believe I tried it before, but it didn't work.
This works in my test scene because I am not explicitly naming the primitives separately, where I am in my other scene. It would seem that I either have to remove the naming in the referenced object, or temporarily remove the naming before the fracture.

thanks again for the aha moment!
