Hey everyone,this is my submission for Day 02 topobuild.This one was tricky for me as i had less modeling exp. So it was fun to learn and i tried making the cloth wrapped around the mummy like character using topobuild node.

Used the following assets in the background from sketchfab and also free megascans cloth material.
The main zombie char is from mixamo.com

lol I had no idea what I was going to be able to do with that node fortunatly the SideFX video gave me enough of an idea and after a quick mess around this is how I used the node..

This time I incorporated Octane Render into Houdini, below shows the main materials used


Inside the rock node here, it’s real simple; I’m just using a Quixel Megascans Rock texture and box projecting it

This is the COPS graph, after I rendered out the scene via Octane, I brought the image back into Houdini for post processing in cops. I didn’t bother with render passes so I just had the beauty render, I then did some color adjustments, added some blur to remove cg edges, added a bit of sharpen back in, vignette, chromatic aberration and some grain


So after all that, this is the final Artwork...

Day 02. I've never done a retopology, so it was interesting to learn this tool.

Used it to add headband and handbands to Capybara.

Then added some fur and rendered with Karma XPU.

Had a crash earlier today due to my own error. and had to abandon my initial nicer attempt.

Wanted to use TopoBuild to draw out some cloth with art directed, hand-made torn edges etc, and use Vellum to weld and sim it.

Came back at end of day, redid it badly in a rush before the deadline.
