I'm trying to model in houdini, crazy I know, but hitting Q to replay my polysplit SOP adds a node with edge locations already there. I've revert the node to default values over and over to no avail. The split location is the same every time, not the location the last time I cut the tool, but the exact same value 3100e2:0.155102. I have to basically hit enter again to ‘accept’ the location and it errors out if those edges don't exist, or if they do exist, it just drops an edge into some random spot on my mesh.
It's driving me nuts, and I'm looking for some kind of fix. I'm in 17.5.425 btw. The fix I'm looking for is to get the tool to drop a SOP with no value in the Split Locations field.
Update to this: the same split location happens even if I just drop down the Polysplit SOP in a new file on a clean Polygon Box. This happens regardless of whether I reset the node to factory defaults.
It turned out to be an issue in my preferences. A preset was accidentally created which needed to be manually deleted from the presets folder in order to restore default functionality.
