hi there,

I have a tube in a geo node with an xform node attached. I'm trying to change the pivot in the xform node and would like to be able to see the pivot better in the viewport. However the pivot shows up as a tiny white dot which is brutally difficult to track visually.

Any suggestions on how to address this?

Thanks!

hi ,

maybe you can use a Null and give to it any shape you like .. ( see pics )

just reference the Null ‘s position from the Object ’s pivot coords ..

-

notice also that the Null uses the Control SOP node .

maybe you can have it within your SOP network and reference Object 's Pivot form there ..

hope that works for your case .

.cheers

except the things that cannot be seen , nothing is like it seems .

Thank you very much for the great suggestion. I didn't know about the control SOP node - super helpful. So I'm actually using that in the SOP along with the null.

I've hooked up an xform to the control SOP and am referencing my object's translation and rotation in the control SOP xform's translation and rotation.

Now I can see my pivots!
