Hi,
I saw a lot of great guys here, you all made awesome work.
I was wondering about it, I knew how make it in Maya, but I really dont get the point in Houdini.
problem is :
How should I do? when a ball fall and broken on floor, then it becomes several parts and new broken faces emit some particle aka dusts!
Thanks for reading.
Best,
JC

cut+paste from the help :
How to smash an object and emit debris
*Create a model of something to smash.
*Use either the Break or Shatter tools on the Model shelf to cut your geometry automatically.
The break tool cuts your model along a jagged line one time, whereas the shatter tool cuts your model along a jagged line multiple times.
*Use either the RBD Fractured Object or RBD Glue Object tools on the Rigid Bodies shelf to turn your object into a dynamic object.
The RBD fractured object tool will make your model break apart with very little force, whereas the RBD glue object tool will hold your model together until a strong force is applied to it.
*Select the RBD object and click the Debris tool on the Create Particles shelf. This will emit particles from the edges of the separating pieces.
*You can then replace each particle with a shape or image using the Instance, Render, or Sprite tools on the Drive Particles shelf.
