I have been getting these warnings at startup. They are related to Maxon's redgiant universe. Any idea why they are popping up?

I didn't touch anything in my redgiant installation. And I don't think they are related to Houdini. They are only used in video editing and post production apps like Davinci resolve, After Effects, Premiere Pro etc.

How to remove these warnings?

They only started when I updated to Houdini 20.5.584

To make matters weirder, I never made this folder "D:\rg\GitLab-Runner", and it doesn't even exist in my machine, that's being mentioned in the error log popup.

Disable the OFX path that way you prevent COPs from loading installed OFX plugins

HOUDINI_DISABLE_OPENFX_DEFAULT_PATH = 1

I had the same issues and this parameter in the Houdin.env fix the problem ---- for my point of view should be also nice to Understand Why we have to insert this command: what is the real root cause.
Thanks.

Hi,
I have this very same issue with Houdini 21 but I'm not sure what steps you have to do to fix it.
I followed these steps from the link but replaced step 3 with "HOUDINI_DISABLE_OPENFX_DEFAULT_PATH = 1", resulting in the following steps, still it doesn't work for me. Am I doing something wrong? Could you please Confirma the rigght steps?

----------

1-Choose Start ▸ Edit environment variables for your account.
2-Click New.
3-Set Variable name to "HOUDINI_DISABLE_OPENFX_DEFAULT_PATH = 1".
4-Set Variable value to C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins.
5-Click OK.
6-Log out and then log back into Houdini to use the OpenFX plug-ins.

----------

Many thanks
