the preferred sourcing workflow has changed in H12
the generation of source volumes happens in SOPs using Fluid Source SOP
then it is brought to DOPs using Source Volume DOP

just use some of the Shelf Tools and you will see how it's used

you can always use old Apply Source if you unhide it (opunhide Dop sourceapply) even though new Source Volume is recommended
or there is always traditional source relationship
