Hi,
I think this is the best place to start with this one.. :wink:
Are there any tuts out there dealing with ICE like setups in Houdini?
With that I mean the basic workflows we have in ICE, but Houdinified.
So:
- basic emission by surface
- pick object(s) or groups for particle emission
- paint in/out emission ‘weightmaps’
- turbulize SRT's and such
- mix several ICE trees
- get certain effects by adding nulls or expressions (delete emission etc.)

Hi Rob, here's one I did awhile back. It shows how to recreate ICE modulate by Null in Houdini and presents some basic correlations between ICE and VOPS
