Here's an idea: make a 3D model of downtown Toronto and use the fluid system to simulate the microclimate around Front St and find out why it's so windy ;-)

I'm actually kind of suprised you don't hear about Houdini in architecture, procedural modeling could save a lot of time/scripting

There was a half-day course at Siggraph 2007 called “Urban Design and Procedural Modeling”. Basically talking about creating cityscapes for games and movies. Definitely a niche where SESI can be a player.

I recently recommended Houdini for a city project. As his project was to build Venice for a simulator.
